Our Emergency and Immediate Alert Service

We are using Remind as an emergency contact system for our church. Through it, we can easily and quickly send out a text message to everyone on the system.

One way we would use it would be to notify you if church is cancelled due to bad weather. We will also use it occasionally to get a message out to everyone on the system about an upcoming event or an immediate need.

Remind is designed to work in a school setting so you will see education terminology as you sign up. Our church is considered a class in this system.

The advantage of this system is that we can send out a message to everyone with one text, and when you reply to it, it only comes back to us and not to everyone one else in the chain.

To sign up, choose one of the methods below:

To get text messages on any cell phones: Text the message @tmartinse to the number 81010. If you’re having trouble with 81010, try texting @tmartinse to (941) 787-5566.

If you have a smartphone, you can also get push notifications. On your iPhone or Android phone open your web browser and go to: rmd.at/tmartinse. Follow the instructions to sign up for Remind. You will be prompted to download the mobile app.
